Puget Sound Business Journal Ranks MAQ Software as One of the Fastest Growing Companies in Washington State, Five Years in a Row


MAQ Software is recognized again as one of the fastest growing companies by Inc. magazine in the prestigious 2009 Inc. 5000 list. In addition, MAQ Software is ranked No. 22 in the Seattle, Tacoma and Bellevue area.


In December 2008, MAQ Software expanded its Hyderabad operations to accommodate over 400 employees. Located at HITEC City 2, the state of the art building constructed by Larsen and Toubro provides latest IT infrastructure to support our current growth plans.


MAQ Software Employees Dominate CSTE National Rankings

MAQ Software employees secured the second and fifth best scores nationally out of 2,599 candidates who undertook the QAI Global Institute's Certified Software Tester (CSTE) examination in India. The success of our employees reflects on our commitment towards training and certification.



For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) is a series of programs designed to engage students in exciting challenges exploring science and technology. FIRST is a non-profit organization that engages hundreds of elementary, middle and high school students in Washington state through exciting programs. To promote interest in mathematics and science among Washington state students, MAQ Software regularly sponsors FIRST.

MAQ Software Discusses Outsourcing Best Practices at China Bilateral IT Collaboration Seminar

At the China Bilateral IT Collaboration Seminar (BITCS 2007), MAQ Software detailed software outsourcing best practices based on over seven years of close working relationship with the largest software company in the world. The conference was attended by over 300 senior managers interested in the field of Information Technology and Outsourcing. Other speakers at the conference included senior managers from Citibank, HP, SITEL, TPI and Deloitte Consulting.

March 16, 2006: At TIE- Seattle panel discussion, Rajeev Agarwal, Managing Consultant of MAQ Software discussed services opportunities with upcoming Windows Vista. Sanjay Parthasarthy, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft Corporation was the keynote speaker and outlined the roadmap for Windows Vista. Other panelists included Bill Baxter, Snaptune, Carey Butler, Vice President of Bsquare Corporation, Carter Maslan, Director of Business Development, Microsoft Corporation.

Working with the Sports Games Studio team at Microsoft Corporation, MAQ Software helped deliver the XSN Sports World Championship -- the most competitive and intense online sports tournament in the history of console video games. The single-elimination championship brackets were created for each of the six XSN Sports titles and populated with the highest ranked XSN Sports gamers. Winners of each tournament were given an all-expense paid trip to Los Angeles where they battled it out amongst a crowd of on-looking spectators, including NBA superstars Shaquille O'Neal and Antoine Walker, with the overall winner earning a grand prize of $25,000.

Developed by MAQ Software last year, XSN Sports combines the Internet, e-mail, and Xbox Live™ to unite gamers from all over the world. The complete system utilizes Microsoft .NET and C#, using advanced coding techniques to deliver a robust, high performance system.


With nearly one year in operation, we are happy to report continued interest and success of the Computer Literacy Program in Bombay. Local schools in Bombay continue to request us to accommodate additional students. With our current enrollment of 75 students per six-week course, we plan to educate all of the girls in our local area in Bombay over the next eighteen months.

As a background, to bring computer and Internet skills to low income school age girls in India, MAQ Software utilizes our computers and our Internet infrastructure to provide computing facilities to the girls on weekends. With less than three million PCs sold in India every year, PC penetration in India remains one of the lowest in the world at 9 PCs per 1000 people (vs. 500 PCs per 1000 people in USA).

MAQ Software Founder and Managing Consultant Rajeev Agarwal and Microsoft Corporation discuss outsourcing to India and other Asian countries that provide a larger technical talent pool.
