Community engagement is an integral part of MAQ Software's culture and values. We believe that the vitality of our company is linked to the health of our communities. Our communities cannot flourish unless we engage with them and invest in their future. Innovative solutions and "out of the box" thinking maximizes utilization of existing resources.

To bridge the "digital divide" in India, MAQ Software has gone beyond the typical corporate solution of providing money. We engage with government schools to provide computer and Internet skills to school age girls from weaker section of our Goregaon community near our Bombay Technology Center. We utilize our computers and our Internet infrastructure to provide computing facilities to the girls on weekends.

MAQ Software employs a professional trainer(s) to teach Internet and computing skills to school age girls. Our program also provides a forum for our engineers, many of whom are women to volunteer their time and skills to improve our community.

We plan to educate all of the girls in a local government school every six months. Over the next two years, we hope to provide 100% computer literacy to all girls from publicly funded government schools in our Goregaon, Bombay community.
